ViewLearn the basics of how to make books. Over four weeks we will go over accordion books, long-stitch and short-stitch binding, and how to make a clamshell box to hold your creations.
ViewCreate your own set of handmade books. We’ll familiarize ourselves with bookmaking tools and techniques and learn several bookbinding techniques. You’ll also learn how to customize your books to be journals or sketchbooks. Plan to complete the class with a saddle stitched book, and a stab bound book.
