Books can be Sculptures

Explore books as sculptural forms by making a couple of different accordion books, a flower fold book and experimenting with tunnel book forms. We will be learning how to make hardcover and softcover books. The goal is to learn how paper can become sculpture when cut and folded into different forms.

Create your own set of handmade books. We’ll familiarize ourselves with bookmaking tools and techniques and learn several bookbinding techniques.
