Superheroes + Villains (Ages 6-8)

Students will design and wear their own capes and masks and assume the identity of their chosen characters. Then of course there is the brave task of vanquishing off the evil-doers!

Nature Inspired Art (Ages 6-8)

Gather flowers, leaves, rocks, sticks, and more to create art inspired by the great outdoors! Each day we'll go on an adventure to find materials for a project. From luminaries to dying fabric, we will explore conservation, the beauty of nature and the different ways we can interact with it. 

Gnome Homes + Fairy Gardens (Ages 6-8)

Make whimsical small worlds with a variety of materials like clay, collage, paint, natural materials, even shrinky dinks. Keep your creation indoors or bring components of it outdoors to your own garden. We'll also make some fun garden art to help lure gnomes and fairies into your garden.

Pokémon llustrations: Gotta Catch ‘Em All (Ages 6-8)

Are you a Pokémon fan? In this class students will create a portfolio of pocket monsters! Our time together is meant to be equal parts art-making and community space. Students can battle each other, trade cards, and discuss the evolution of the Pokémon universe.

Paper-mâché Hats + Helmets (Ages 9-11)

Get hat and helmet inspiration from your favorite shows stories or movies, or come up with your own designs. We'll draw, construct, paint and finally wear a beautiful, monstrous, or fierce headwear together. Your creativity is the limit.

Story-Inspired Art (Ages 6-8)

We will become storytellers of our art, starting each class with improv games to get us loosened up! We will read stories and talk about the language, illustrations, and concepts. We'll explore a variety of 2D + 3D media, like printmaking, sculpture, fiber and more to create crafts based on the story.

Cat + Dog Creations (Ages 6-8)

Want to celebrate our furry friends? Our class for cat and dog creations is just the thing! Make a pet-inspired trinket dish with air-dry clay, or paint your own work of art inspired by works from famous artists who use animals as inspiration.

Creating Tiny Worlds (Ages 6-8)

Dream up components of your own tiny universe using a variety of media and techniques! ONSITE: Mixed Media

Students will learn the basics of metalsmithing to fabricate rings, earrings, pendants, or small sculptures. We'll cover measuring, piercing, soldering, filing, sanding, and other finishing techniques. Students will leave with several finished projects and a great base-level skillset.

ONSITE: Cut-paper Collage Techniques for Design + Illustration
