Playing at the Altar explores memory and time, delving into the shared and personal histories of the Studio Access Residents through their work. It reflects on the idea that growing into ourselves can take a lifetime, or even multiple lifetimes. Like a game of pretend, we allow the past to inform an imagined future, ultimately finding joy in creating our present.
