Out of This World: Science + Space Art (Ages 6-8)
This class will be packed with all the best parts of art camp plus some science lab added in to encourage curiosity and exploration. Weird and wonderful space facts will form the basis of learning. Projects will include watercolor galaxy painting, mixed-media rocket ships, and what space week would be complete without extra terrestrial 3D creations.
About the Instructor
Stephanie Morse
Stephanie graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology for Fine Arts and Art History and Italian. She was introduced to teaching in 2015 fell in love with it. Her classes span from drawing basics to bookbinding. An artist in her own right, her work has been selected and featured in juried art shows across the country with the latest one in DC. Stephanie is also actively involved in the local arts community by freelancing and advocating for accessible art opportunities. If she's not in a classroom you can probably find her dreaming of, talking about, or actively eating good food!
