Hand-Built Sculpture: Expanding Techniques
Learn intricate hand-building techniques in order to experiment and create the sculpture of your choosing. Explore intermediate coil and slab building techniques, hollowing, and more. Weekly guidance and demonstrations will be individualized for each student's unique project. Students will have the opportunity to experiment with various glazes and slips and are introduced to the history of ceramic art.

- Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
You will receive a half bag of clay; additional clay is available for purchase.
On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. Please visit visarts.org for more information.
