Family Studio: ¡Celebramos Frida! Self Portraits + Dreams

Make art side-by-side as a family. Explore a new medium each week and create a beautiful project together. Frida Kahlo was inspired by all the good stuff in life: dreams, animals, nature, etc. Together the class will draw similar inspiration from our own lives to create one-of-a-kind self-portraits. Spanish speaking is encouraged!

Special Notes

• Families need to sign up before 4pm the day before class. Confirmations/cancellations will be made by 5pm on the day before. Please sign up as early as possible.

About the Instructor

Stephanie Morse

Stephanie graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology for Fine Arts and Art History and Italian. She was introduced to teaching in 2015 fell in love with it. Her classes span from drawing basics to bookbinding. An artist in her own right, her work has been selected and featured in juried art shows across the country with the latest one in DC. Stephanie is also actively involved in the local arts community by freelancing and advocating for accessible art opportunities. If she's not in a classroom you can probably find her dreaming of, talking about, or actively eating good food!
