Fairouz Bsharat

Fairouz Bsharat is a Literary Arts major at Appomattox Regional Governor's School and the Virginia Youth Poet Laureate for Chester! She won first place in Fledge’s National Nonfiction Competition and received a Scholastic Gold Medal and American Voices Award. Fairouz has had her work published in Under the Madness Magazine, Virginia Bards Central Review 2022, The American Library Of Poetry 2023 Empowered, UVA’s Writer’s Eye 2025, among other places.
