Young + Artful

Young + Artful is now part of the Collectors’ Night weekend! On March 6, 2020, VisArts’ junior board will host a lively event geared at young professionals and the young at heart. Guests enjoy live music from The Flavor Project, dancing and the presentation of VisArts first ever Emerging Artist Award. The event also will feature a wheel throwing performance by Dan Kaczka and Kathleen O’Connor.

Tickets are $60 and include food and beverages. Become a VisArts member and you can buy tickets for $50!

Raffle items include a one-year membership to Common House (valued at $2,500), a ceramic piece by artist Matt Repsher, winner of the 2019 Shockoe Bottom Clay Ceramics Award at Craft + Design, a ceramic piece by artist Sam Brown and a free Class at VisArts.

Local artists have also created limited edition items that will be for sale including whiskey glasses by glass artist Sean Donlon, earrings by jewelry artist Nina Zabal and an limited edition License To Kill print by artist Adam Juresco.
