We are closed on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the day after Christmas.

Inclement Weather: VisArts does not follow the inclement weather closings of area schools. Closings are announced on the website, on Facebook and via Instagram. VisArts’ first priority is always the safety of our students, faculty and staff. Expect full-day closures and delayed openings to be announced by 6:30 a.m., day-of. VisArts will determine whether to cancel evening classes and special events by 4 p.m. Current students can expect to receive an e-mail from VisArts’ registrar with information about rescheduling any missed classes.

We are happy to welcome visitors to the Visual Arts Center of Richmond. Our facility and gallery are open 9am to 9pm each day! To ensure the safety and security of our community, we do have guidelines in place for what visitors are able to see and do at VisArts. Please read our visitor policy.
