Partnerships
The Visual Arts Center of Richmond got its start in 1963 offering tuition-based art classes in Church Hill. Those classes are still going strong, but as we’ve grown, we’ve been able to expand our mission. Today, we offer hundreds of people free access to art classes through our community and school partnerships.

School Partnerships
Some of VisArts’ best youth workshops are those we’ve built alongside our school partners. We often get calls from teachers and administrators who know their students need more arts education but don’t know how to stretch their limited resources to make it happen.
