Thrift Store Puppets (Ages 9-11)
This class is a great way for kids to learn how to work within a budget to create a completely unique puppet! Students will use objects and fabric found at the thrift store down the block from VisArts. This class helps give kids agency in making their own decisions for their sculpture while making things silly and fun.

- You may bring your own iPad and Apple Pencil, or use one of ours. Please download procreate before class. Visarts is not responsible for lost equipment.

Hi, I'm Tori! I love to paint and talk about art! In my work I try to reuse supplies and repurpose old fabrics to give them new life. My subject matter usually leans toward domestic scenes such as the home, and the incorporation of fibers help bring an expressive quality to my work. I love all mediums, but I use a lot of paper in my work in different collage forms.
