B: Metalworking: Fold Form a Copper Leaf with Jeannine Metzfield (Adults and Youth 10+ with Registered Adult)
Try your hand at fold forming a copper leaf with metal artist Jeannine Metzfield. Fold a thin piece of metal, cut your form into a leaf shape with metal shears, then forge the form with a hammer. Heat and cool the form, and then open it for a surprise leaf shape!

- Ages below 18 are welcome, if accompanied by a ticket holding adult.Each person participating must register separately for the class. Be sure to sign up ASAP to guarantee your spot. Some seats may be available the night of, but it is recommended that you sign up early to ensure the class runs. About the Instructor
Jeannine Metzfield
Jeannine’s journey forged a path into metalsmithing in 2002. She has studied Metals at Virginia Commonwealth University, The Visual Arts Center, Arrowmont and Penland School of Crafts. She currently teaches metalsmithing at The Visual Arts Center, as well as to private clients. In her studio she is inspired by the beauty and strength of nature. In her classes she promotes caring for the earth and connection to spirit.
