Visarts has recently established a gallery-based education program at the center called Visarts: Engage, providing FREE field trip opportunities to schools, after school programs, parents and children. We would like to invite our community members and schools to join us for engaging field trip opportunities that promote creativity as well as incorporate cross-curricular learning standards. The newly opened exhibition Richard Carlyon Retrospective incorporates VA SOL’s in Art. The program is geared for grades K-12 and includes post-gallery activities as well as resource materials. We want you to come engage in the creative process!
