The Visual Arts Center of Richmond presents its 48th annual Craft + Design Show Friday, November 16 through Sunday, November 18, 2012 in the beautiful Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia.
One of the nation’s best, the Craft + Design Show has gained a reputation for hosting the finest in contemporary crafts and attracting exhibitors from across the nation. Cash prizes totaling more than $6,000 will be awarded, and may include Best in Show, Ceramics, Contemporary Design, Design in Precious Metal, Glass, Innovative Materials or Processes, Traditional Craft Materials, Wood or Recycled Materials, and Wearable Art.

For its 47th year, the Craft + Design Show was held November 18-20, in the spectacular rotunda and adjoining rooms of the Science Museum of Virginia. We hosted 60 of the nation’s preeminent artists in a variety of media – clay, wood, jewelry, metal, glass, mixed media, fiber and wearable art. All ticket proceeds benefit VisArts classes, exhibitions and outreach programs that engage the community in the creative process!
