Adobe Photoshop CS/Illustrator Creative Combination

Beginner/Intermediate

Learn to fully utilize the creative potential of Adobe Photoshop CS and Adobe Illustrator. The instructor will emphasize design and system navigation. Course uses Mac G5’s and Adobe software. Students are expected to shoot or provide new images for exercises each week and to provide their own re-writable cd or jet flash for saving work done in class. Limited to 8 students.

Are you ready to give the digital world a try? This class is appropriate for students new to photography and new to digital media, and those interested in understanding the process from image capture to final print. Topics covered include camera operation, shutter speed, aperture, lenses, focal length, correct exposure, and composition. Classroom exercises include basic image enhancement, color correction, retouching and printing. Course uses Mac G5’s and Adobe software. Students are expected to shoot or provide new images for exercises each week and to provide their own re-writable cd or jet flash for saving work done in class. Enrollment is limited to 8 students.

Go deeper into the professional image-editing standard and leader of the Photoshop digital imaging line. Learn more about the tools that both help you with more efficient editing, processing, and file handling, and to achieve extraordinary results in image production. Course uses Mac G5’s and Adobe software. Students are expected to provide images for exercises each week and to provide their own jet flash cartridge or a re-writable cd for saving work done in class, and their own photo quality printing paper. Enrollment is limited to 8 students.
