Teaching opportunities

Teaching artists are encouraged to explore opportunities for leading classes and workshops at the Visual Arts Center. Artists should submit a resume or curriculum vitae, samples of your work, and examples of classes you have taught previously. Professionals interested in working with adults should contact Aimee Joyaux, 353-0094 extension 211, those wishing to work with youth should contact Susann Whittier, 353-0094 extension 234.

If you are interested in teaching a course, please review ourĀ Class Proposal Guidelines Fall 2013 and submit your requests to Shannon Fuller at shannonfuller@visarts.org following the required format. The summer term will run from September 2 – December 27, 2013. Deadline for proposals is May 26, 2013.

Studio Rentals

The Visual Arts Center of Richmond offers studios that can be rented by artists looking for a space in which to be creative. For information about studios, please email Robert Barrientes at rbarrientes@visarts.org.
